My novel, The Inheritance, explores family dynamics. I have always been intrigued by family history and the story was inspired by genealogical research I conducted to solve family mysteries. My late father, Arnold Joseph Perry, gave me the final nudge to publish The Inheritance, launch this website and write these blogs. My father encouraged me to travel and was always the first person who looked at my photographs. His legacy of love and devotion to our family is my most treasured inheritance.

This is a photograph of my father. He was a Naval Officer during World War Two and I have the identical picture in my writing den at home. Family matters the most to me and posting this picture symbolizes that the spirit of those we love who have passed away remain with us forever.

I will be writing a new blog every week and welcome your comments. I hope you enjoy my other pictures. Let me know what you think.

Blessings Always,
